Sclerotherapy or laser for Spider Veins

Sclerotherapy involves the injection of a specialised medical solution into visible leg veins to cause their gradual closure and fading over time.

Performed by a qualified practitioner, this procedure targets superficial spider veins and is carried out under sterile, medical conditions. Vascular laser will sometimes be used to compliment the treatment for best results.

Sclerotherapy often requires a series of treatments for best results, as well as compression stockings for a period of time to improve the treatment and reduce DVT risk.

Laser can also be used for fine spider veins.

At Mind Body Skin Institute, our role is to interpret those signals and design thoughtful, doctor-led treatment plans that address both the surface and the source.
