Filler Dissolving Consultations
At the Mind Body Skin Institute, we understand that aesthetic goals and preferences can change over time. In some cases, patients may wish to adjust, refine, or remove previously placed dermal filler.
Filler dissolving is a medical procedure performed using a prescription-only enzyme that assists in breaking down hyaluronic acid–based dermal fillers. This treatment can be appropriate where filler has migrated, caused asymmetry, or is no longer desired.
What to Expect
Your consultation will include:
A comprehensive assessment of your medical history and previous filler treatments
Clinical photography and facial examination to identify treatment areas
Discussion of risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
A personalised plan which may involve staged or single-session treatment
The dissolving process is performed only by a qualified medical practitioner after a face-to-face consultation and informed consent. In some cases, a patch test may be required to assess for sensitivity.
Following treatment, your doctor will advise on appropriate aftercare and whether a waiting period is recommended before considering future treatments.

Individual suitability, dosage, and treatment frequency can only be determined during a medical consultation with an AHPRA-registered practitioner. All procedures are performed in accordance with AHPRA and TGA regulations.
