Dr Nicole Chater is the Medical Director and Founder of the Mind Body Skin Institute, a doctor-led clinic dedicated to redefining how we approach ageing, skin, health, and longevity.
As a Specialist General Practitioner (FRACGP) with additional training in cosmetic and women’s health medicine, Dr Chater blends scientific precision with an appreciation for artistry and holistic wellness. Her philosophy is simple yet powerful — to help patients look well, feel well, and age well.
Every treatment plan is medically guided and personalised, focusing not only on appearance but also on the underlying biological and lifestyle factors that influence ageing — including hormonal balance, metabolic health, stress, sleep, and nutrition.
Before attending medical school, Dr Chater completed a Undergraduate Degree in Psychology which continues to shape her compassionate and patient-centred approach. She understands that mental wellbeing and physical health are deeply connected, and this philosophy underpins all aspects of care at the Mind Body Skin Institute.
Committed to clinical excellence and lifelong learning, Dr Chater stays at the forefront of modern medicine by attending national and international conferences, participating in expert forums and workshops, and regularly reviewing current medical and aesthetic journal literature. She is also actively involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors and holds an Associate lecturer appointment at Macquarie University.
Through the Mind Body Skin Institute, Dr Chater continues to bridge the gap between medicine, aesthetics, and longevity science, offering thoughtful, evidence-based care for patients seeking confidence, vitality, and balanced health at every life stage.
